Sam's Story

Sam Stewart is a Queer Creative who is leaving a positive impact on Dublin City and its LGBTQIA+ community. With a diverse set of passions and experiences, Sam is a shining example of how creativity, inclusivity, and mental health can come together to make a difference.

After spending four years in New York City, Sam returned to Dublin seeking to create a safe and welcoming nightlife environment. They noticed a lack of options that catered to the LGBTQ+ community and decided to take matters into their own hands. In 2022, they hosted the first-ever Sam's Collective Queer Open Mic Night, which has since grown into a beloved community-driven initiative.

At Sam's Collective events, you'll find a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The Open Mic Night, held every other Sunday at Wigwam in Dublin City Centre, showcases a variety of artists and musicians. From seasoned performers to first-timers, everyone is welcome and supported. The event is a testament to Sam's commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive environment for all.

Sam's activism extends beyond their nightlife events. As an ambassador for the We-Consent Campaign with the Rape Crisis Centre, Sam works tirelessly to promote safety in all aspects of life. They are passionate about mental health, creativity, and inclusivity, and strive to make a positive impact in these areas.

If you're looking for a vibrant and supportive community in Dublin, look no further than Sam's Collective. Whether you're a musician, artist, or simply someone who loves live music, you'll find something to appreciate and enjoy at their events. Follow Sam on social media to stay updated on upcoming events and initiatives.
